 A World Without Trees: The Dangers of Deforestation Do you know the dangers of deforestation? There are multiple environmental issues in Malaysia, deforestation is only one among many. Deforestation is the action of intentionally cutting or burning down trees (National Geographic, n.d.). Fun Facts: Deforestation

Deforestation is a serious threat to the environment as its consequences are extensive. Deforestation has become a recent favorite way for mankind to acquire our needs, such as medicine, cardboard, and etc (Vault, 2024).  After some thorough research, I have found some really interesting facts. The first fact is that a major reason for deforestation is chocolates and biscuits. For another fact, if we keep cutting down trees at this rate, all our rainforests would be cleared in less than 100 years (Fun Facts 4 Kids, 2022). The last fact not only would our rainforest be cleared, but the human race would also be extinct in 20 to 40 years (Tadashi, 2024). To live or not to live, is but up to the woodcutter, it's up to you. We need direct attention and combined action to stop deforestation once for all (Rinkesh, 2025). Reference: Rinkesh.
